- At 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, an Atlantic Avenue resident reported what she believed was a scam. The woman said that the phone rang and when she answered it the man said "Gram?" He then asked, "do you know who this is?" The woman replied, "I assume this is my grandson." The woman did not offer any more information and the man hung up but called twice in an hour.

- At 4:16 p.m. Tuesday, "an odd piece of mail" was received at the Marblehead Reporter office.
- At 4:24 p.m. Tuesday, police received reports a bicyclist was struck on Pleasant and Smith Streets. When police arrived, the bicyclist was walking around and the car involved in the accident was gone after checking to make sure the man was OK. The bicyclist said the car just "brushed" him and that it was his own fault.
- At 10:44 p.m. a resident of Bayview Road called police after driving up to her house and seeing her cat outside. The resident was sure her pets were inside when she left. She drove away and called police. Once police arrived, she returned and walked through the house. Nothing was out of place.
