Boston Yacht Club To Host Marblehead Rotary 5K
This year's race will benefit school district's daily mindfulness program.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — North Shore runners are invited to enjoy a brisk jog through Marblehead's Old Town and a cup of chowder as part of this year's Marblehead Rotary 5K.
The Boston Yacht Club will host the event that promotes fitness and charitable giving to assist in funding the school district's daily mindfulness program.
This year's event is set for Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. Runners can register here.

The mindfulness program is a simple tool of audio-guided exercises to start the students' day. In its third year, the program is designed to help students deal with stress, focus better, and make learning in the classroom a better place.
After the race, runners are invited to enjoy a hot dog and chowder.
