Car Crashes Through Shop's Front Wall
The Monday afternoon crash happened on Hawkes Street.
A car slammed through the front wall of Marblehead Sport Shop on Hawkes Street on Monday afternoon.
No serious injuries were reported in the 1:30 p.m. crash. Fox 25, which had its ”Sky Fox” helicopter hovering over the crash, reported that one witness said the crash was caused by the driver’s flip-flop getting caught on the gas pedal.
The building inspector was notified after the crash.
