Carbon Monoxide Sends 2 Marblehead School Janitors To Hospital
No children were injured in the carbon monoxide incident at the L.H. Coffin School on Turner Road in Marblehead.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Two janitors were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after being exposed to carbon monoxide at the L.H. Coffin School on Turner Road in Marblehead Friday morning. Emergency crews were called to the school just before 8 a.m. after a fan belt failed on the school's exhaust system, leading to a buildup of the deadly gas. No students were involved in the incident., and the school is closed for the day.
