Contested Marblehead Select Board Race At Annual Town Election

There will be six candidates, including four incumbents, running for the five Select Board seats on June 11.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Six candidates, including four incumbents, are running for the five Marblehead Select Board seats in next week's annual town election.

Alexa Singer, Moses Grader, Bret Murray and Erin Noonan are running for re-election, while Daniel Fox and Daniel Albert are challenging for seats. James Nye declined to run for re-election during this cycle.

The Select Board is one of three offices with contested elections on June 11 along with the Parks and Recreation Commission and the Housing Authority.

There are six candidate for five spots on the Parks and Recreation Commission with Karin Ernst, Matthew Martin, Rossana Ferrante, Shelly Bedrossian and Linda Collins running for re-election with Richard Jordan challenging for a seat.

Kristin Horton and Laura Gallant are running for an open seat on the Housing Authority.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 11.
