Donate Extra Halloween Candy to Troops Overseas
Save yourself the bellyache: The Marblehead Police Department is collecting extra candy for CAPTS.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – If your Halloween haul is exceptional this year, consider donating some of it to a Marblehead organization that sends it overseas.
CAPTS, or Calling All Patriots Troop Support, will be accepting candy 24/7 starting on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the Marblehead Police Station. According to a Marblehead Police Facebook post, the donation bins were overflowing with donated candy last year.
CAPTS' mission is, if they can't bring troops home, they'd like to bring some "home" to troops. The organization collects items off of wish lists to make up care packages for soldiers overseas.
