Dr. Gregory Maass Hired To Head Schools

A new superintendent has been hired to take the helm of  Marblehead Schools.

The Marblehead School Committee has successfully concluded contract negotiations with “, who is currently serving as superintendent of Green Bay Area School district, announced at the March 3, School Committee Meeting.

 Dr. Maass was identified as the preferred candidate at the February 3, School Committee meeting after an intense week of interviews with three finalists.

 He will begin in the Marblehead district July 1, 2011. He will succeed Dr. Paul Dulac who is retiring after four years.
