Driver Cited in Thursday Accident
The driver who struck the bicyclist Thursday has been cited.

According to police, at approximately 5:47 p.m. there was an accident at the intersection involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle.
The operator of the vehicle, Daniel Lynch of 29 Commercial St., remained on scene until police arrived and investigated the accident, police said in a press release Friday afternoon.

Following a complete investigation by the, Officer Rick Alex issued a citation to Lynch for the crosswalk violation. The victim of the accident was transported to Salem Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance for treatment. The name of the victim nor condition have been released.
