Everything From Music To History Lessons This Weekend
Here's a look at what's going on this weekend.

While this weekend won't be as busy as last, there are still some summer-fun events to attend. From listening to jazz to spending an educational afternoon at Fort Sewall, there is no doubt something for every taste.
Learn - The annual Fort Sewall encampment is a popular tradition in town, when dozens of people dress up in colonial attire and portray life in the 1770s. The encampment will start at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and is free and open to all ages.
Listen - Pianist Steve Kuhn will demonstrate his musical stylings when he and his trio perform at the Unitarian-Universalist Church on Saturday as part of the Marblehead Summer Jazz series. Tickets are still available and can be purchased for $26 at Arnould Gallery and Spirit '76 Bookstore and $28 at the door. The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday.

Watch - The Boston Yacht Club will hold their Annual Boat Parade on Saturday beginning at the mouth of the harbor at 2 p.m. This year's theme is "shipwrecked." The boats will do a procession through the harbor.
Meet - Marblehead Little Theatre's Annual Meeting is Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. MLT's meeting will give attendees an opportunity to see the inside of the newly renovated theater, enjoy some entertainment on the terrace and sign up to volunteer for upcoming shows. The highlights of the previous year will be reviewed. In addition, there will be an announcement regarding an exciting slate of offerings for the coming year and a vote on several proposed changes to the by-laws.

Admire - J.O.J. Frost Gallery at the Marblehead Museum, second floor. The Marblehead Museum has opened the newly redesigned J.O.J. Frost Folk Art Gallery. The Frost paintings will continue to dominate the space, but the new design will feature a permanent exhibition of Marblehead pottery. The museum has also launched a new series of J.O.J. Frost inspired decoupage plates from Neptune 1 Studios in Marblehead. Susan Newberg and Phyllis Tracy of Neptune 1 Studios previously collaborated with the Marblehead Museum on a "Lee Mansion Series," featuring hand-painted wallpaper designs from the historic house, and an "Ashley Bowen Series" based on the watercolors in the diary of that 18th-century sailor. The J.O.J. Frost plates are available for purchase at the Seagull Gift Shop in Marblehead.
