Excerpts From the Marblehead Police Log

Some calls police responded to this week.

  • Police took a lighter, marijuana grinder, and glass jar containing marijuana residue from the school on Humphrey Street around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
  • Someone walked into the station to turn in shotgun ammo found in their basement around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
  • Officers report a woman walked into the fire department around 6 p.m. Wednesday claiming that she was raising money for cancer, and that she had just come from Swampscott Fire. The firefighters gave her some money, but weren't sure about her story. They called Swampscott Fire, and learned that they didn't donate anything.
