Explicit Zoom Bomb Briefly Distrupts Marblehead Select Board Meeting
The meeting was delayed while administrators removed the video that appeared on the Zoom portion of the hybrid meeting.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — A presentation to the Select Board on Marblehead's financial projections for 2025 was briefly disrupted on Wednesday night when a sexually explicit video and audio appeared on the Zoom portion of the hybrid meeting.
The interruption occurred about 15 minutes into Finance Committee Chair Alec Goolsby's presentation and lasted for about 90 seconds before administrators were able to remove the contributor from the Zoom meeting.
Those who attended the meeting live were apparently not witnesses to the explicit display, which had a handful of online viewers at the time.

Select Board Chair Erin Noonan offered to cut short and restart the Zoom meeting but that proved unnecessary once the account spewing the video — as well as a loud audio accompaniment — was removed from the online portion of the meeting.
Goolsby then picked up his presentation where he left off at the time of the intrusion.
