Before you start your week, here are 5 things you need to know today:
1. Want to get on stage? Marblehead Little Theatre will hold auditions for "Proof" tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. Proof is the story of the daughter of a brilliant but mentally disturbed mathematician (deceased) who tries to come to grips with her possible inheritance: his insanity. Proof is scheduled to hit the stage April 29 and 30, and May 1, 6, 7, and 8.
2. The Toastmaster's Club will have an open houses tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at , 201 Warren St, Peabody. The club is an international public speaking club. This free open house event offers opportunity to participate in impromptu speaking, make a short introductory speech, receive a supportive evaluation and join members and officers in a membership question and answer period. Complimentary pizza and soda will be served. If you would like to make a two to three minute prepared speech please RSVP to Tanya S. 5. Unfortunately the weather is not as great today as yesterday. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast before noon, then a slight chance of showers between noon and 3 p.m.  High near 45. New rainfall amounts could be between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.Â
