It's the middle of the week! Here are 5 things you need to know:

1. Tickets are on sale for "Spring Fling" Friday at 8 p.m. The Marblehead Youth Hockey Association will hold the “Spring Fling” Party and Auction at the Gerry 5 on Beacon Street. All friends and current and former adult family members of Marblehead Youth Hockey —and hockey in general— are invited to attend. Tickets to the event are $25 each before the event and $30 at the door. Sales are limited so interested attendees are encouraged to email Karin McCarthy, kmcc@comcast.net, as soon as possible to reserve tickets. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door.

2. Ever wonder how many extra calories you consume here and there without even being aware? A Conscious Eating Workshop will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at the YMCA. Members $15, Community $22.

3. Burke's Tumbling Academy in Swampscott is having a "dough raiser" at Uno's in Vinnin Square today. Bring your friends and family for either lunch or dinner--present a coupon found on Burke's Tumbling Academy Facebook page today, to your server before your meal.

4. On this day in history - in 1983 CDs were introduced.

5. The weather will be warmer today with highs near 39 degrees. There is a chance of showers this afternoon so bring an umbrella when you leave.
