SLOW DOWN!
We've been noticing a lot of the same calls in the police log - cars failing to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks. Regardless of if pedestrians are in cross walks or not, they have the right of way. Police Chief Robert Picariello has reminded residents to stop for people on the side of the road and pedestrians - remember to make eye contact with the driver, just in case. The streets are narrow and everyone is in a rush so we could all use the reminder.
