Hacked Phone Line Results in $11K Phonebill for Marblehead Company
International calls made by a phone line hacker ran up the phone bill for one Marblehead company.

A Marblehead company is grappling with a $11,000 September phone bill after its phone lines were hacked.
The company’s president tells Pam Cross from WCVB-TV that the typical phone bill is $250 but this month it was more than 40 times larger than usual.
Laurel Mervis, the office supply company’s president, told Cross that it had told the phone company it should be responsible for the bill because it was the result of the company’s line being hacked.
