Historian-Led Walking Tours Educate About Our Past

Bette Hunt's passion for the town is evident as she walks rapidly down Front Street. There is so much to say and see, and just not enough time during the two-hour walking tours she gives every summer.

At last Thursday's last tour of the summer series, Hunt led a group of both locals and tourists around the town she loves so much. 

Yes, she pointe out the historical- - the houses the Glovers lived in and a home that once was a hotel -- but she also throws in the humorous -- the garden named after a toddler and the old outhouse with a pagoda roof.
