Hootie Wants Hugs

Hootie was rescued off the street and now wants a loving home.

The following was submitted by the Marblehead Animal Shelter:

Hootie is so cute and sweet you immediately want to pick him up, squeeze, and give him a big hug. He has such a gorgeous face. He is a five and half month old all-black long hair with a very soft coat.

He is a little shy, but loves to be held, loved, and hugged. Hootie loves his mom, Clown, who is also in the shelter. He and his siblings were living on the streets and unfortunately Hootie is the only kitten that survived. He is in excellent condition and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

He would love to be in a multi-cat home because he loves other cats or a laid-back dog. Hootie is a special little guy who needs a family who will be a little patient for a while because it won’t take long for him to come around to the good life. If you are interested in Hootie, please fill out an adoption application and you will be contacted.

Hootie is up to date with routine shots, house trained and neutered.

You can meet Hootie at the Marblehead Animal Shelter, 44 Village Street, on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon to 3 pm. For more information, call 781 631-8664.
