Letter To The Editor: Much Of Ehrlich's Work Out Of Public Eye

This is one Patch reader's opinion. Letters may be sent to Katherine@Patch.com

To The Editor:

The recent spate of letters focusing on Rep. Lori Ehrlich's time on the job are incredibly ridiculous. I am friends with her family and can personally attest to the fact that her claim of 60 to 80 hours working per week is not at all out of line. Lori returns all of her own e-mail and phone calls, often e-mailing at all hours of the day and night.

There is much to the job of representing us that goes unnoticed and out of the public eye, specifically many things done with various individuals and groups throughout the community. Just because the Legislature is not "in session" does not mean she is not working to help and represent us.

The transparent attempts to justify her opponent's desire to rip off the taxpayers by collecting full-time taxpayer-funded salary while working is just that — transparent. Kate Kozitza has no family or household to support; she is out for herself.
