Long Agenda For This Morning's School Committee Meeting

This morning's School Committee meeting has an extensive to-do list along with a list of highly charged  topics that could spark public outcry.

Discussion about raising school fees for athletics and after-school activities is on the agenda as well as the official start of a search for a new superintendent.

This will be the first meeting Superintendent Paul Dulac will be back for after having heart surgery in May and after a controversy over the hiring of new business manager Brian Salzer.

The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. at the middle school and is expected to be a long one with reviews of last year's budget and updates from each school subcommittee.

The committee will go before the Board of Selectmen next Wednesday evening to update them on the schools as well.
