Man Gets Dirty Look and Flower Box Catches Fire
This is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log from Wednesday through Friday morning.

- At 9:16 a.m. Wednesday, a golfer reported he lost his class ring and Rolex watch on the 7th hole of Tedesco County Club. He also reported it to Swampscott Police. The 7th hole is actually in Swampscott.
- At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, a man driving on Humphrey Street told police he was concerned about two females that had their "legs exposed onto the roadway." He was nervous someone was going to run their legs over.
- At 2:08 p.m. Wednesday, a man walked into the police station to report a couple of days ago a man approached him at Devereux Beach and asked if he was following his wife.
- Chief Robert Picariello discovered offensive graffiti in the alley way between Essex and Pleasant streets at 7:36 a.m. Thursday.
- At 1:05 p.m. Thursday, a man walked into the station and asked to speak to an officer. He told the officer that another officer went by him and gave him a dirty look.
- At 2:14 p.m. Thursday, an Ocean Avenue woman told police she was preparing her yard for the storm when she found a needle on her deck. The woman said she lives next to the rocks and thinks someone may have thrown it up into the yard. The syringe was put in "sharps" container at the station.
- At 2:58 p.m. Thursday, a Maverick Street woman called police to tell them she had dialed a number earlier that day and upon realizing she was one number off, hung up. An hour later, a man called her and wanted to know who she was. She refused to tell him and hung up. The man called back and the woman did not answer, but then realized her name was on her voice mail. The man called back and said he knew her name now and swore at her. The woman didn't want to file a report, but wanted to let police know and ask them to check on the area.
- At 5:10 p.m. Thursday, a flower box on Pleasant Street caught fire. The Fire Department extinguished the fire.
