The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log:

  • At 11:10 a.m. Thursday, police received a complaint that some had tampered with a Chestnut Street resident's car's gas line.
  • At 6 p.m. Thursday, a resident told police she had been driving by a bus earlier when she heard something and saw pieces of her car on the ground. She didn't realize until later that her rear view mirror was smashed.
  • At 9:26 p.m. Thursday, a person walking her dog on Gregory Street said she was behind a male who was "weaving down the road and trying door handles." Police did not locate the man.
  • At 7:07 a.m. Friday, a wire came down on Pleasant Street.
