Marblehead Businesses Look To Lure Salem Residents Away From Halloween Havoc

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Nearly two dozen Marblehead shops and restaurants are looking to lure Salem residents away from the Witch City havoc during Halloween season with discounts specifically for them in the neighboring town.

"Are you a Salem resident who needs a break from the Halloween madness?" the coalition said in its promotion. "Come to Marblehead and enjoy a relaxing meal or shopping excursion without the crowds."

Salem residents who show their ID as proof of residence will receive a 10 percent discount in all participating Marblehead locations for the entire month.
