Marblehead Candidates Night Set For High School Library

The League of Women Voters of Marblehead will host the candidates night on May 21.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents are invited to show up or tune in to learn more about candidates for town office at the League of Women Voters Marblehead candidate night on Tuesday.

The public is also invited to submit questions to the candidates in the contested races for Select Board, Housing Authority and Parks & Recreation Commission. Residents can submit up to three questions by May 19 to shari.pressman@gmail.com or submit the questions in person during the night of the event.

The League of Women Voters Marblehead will determine which questions are posed by the moderator.

The event will be held in the Marblehead High School library with a meet-and-greet at 6:30 and the forum beginning at 7 p.m. Marblehead TV will carry the event on Verizon Channel 28 and Xfinity Channel 8.

The annual town election will be held on June 11.
