Marblehead Children's Boutique Collects Clothing For LA Fire Victims

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A North Shore children's boutique and gift shop is collecting donations for families left homeless amid the massive Los Angeles wildfires.

Owners said Pint Size And Up — located on Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead — will be sending boxes of new and very gently worn children's clothing to organizations in the area.

"Pint Size And Up, in Marblehead, is committed to helping our friends and neighbors in the Los Angeles area who have lost everything from the devastating fires," organizers posted on the shop's social media page. "Imagine all of Marblehead being destroyed."

Organizers asked those donating to remember that clothing should not be too heavy as the weather is warmer in southern California compared to Massachusetts.

Organizers said monetary donations will also be given to Baby2baby, a nonprofit organization providing emergency supplies to children and families in crisis.

"Please consider helping us, help those in need," organizers said. "Any donation will be a blessing."

Pint Size And Up said the donations will be sent to The People's Place, located on Washington Boulevard in Culver City, California, for distribution.
