Marblehead Driver Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree
A two car crash in Beverly on Monday morning was started when a Marblehead driver had a "medical episode" and the car slammed into a tree.

A driver from Marblehead was injured after they had a “medical episode” that caused a two-car crash on Cabot Street in Beverly on Monday morning.
The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Cabot Street and Douglas Avenue. Beverly police said the 56-year-old driver from Marblehead was taken by ambulance to Beverly Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash closed a section of Cabot Street, between Conant Street and Dodge Street, for about a half hour while emergency crews worked at the crash.

The driver’s ‘medical episode” caused the driver to veer into the curb and then hit a tree and then spin back into the road before hitting another vehicle, police said. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
