The annual Marblehead Festival of Arts logo is chosen by public vote and will be revealed at a premiere party Jan. 19.

The new logo for the 2016 Marblehead Festival of Arts will be unveiled to the public at a premiere party Jan. 19.

Every year the Marblehead Festival of Arts is represented by a new logo selected from a design competition, according to the festival website.

This year’s winning logo, chosen by public vote, will be displayed at a public-invited premiere party 7 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Landing Restaurant, located at 81 Front St., with dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This year the judges examined thirty-two designs submitted before selecting those of three finalists, Joe Banda, Alicia Hart, and Lisa Mannix. The judges were Holly Chin, a local graphic artist and 2015 finalist, Carol McLaughlin, an architect and long-time Festival member, and Kristen Nyberg, owner of Nyberg Design. The winning logo will be displayed on all products sold during the 2016 festival as well as on festival promotional materials throughout the year.
