Marblehead Green Homes Tour Set For May
The tour will showcase homes that have upgraded utility systems to reduce bills and carbos emissions.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Those interested in how their Marblehead neighbors are increasing utility savings and reducing their carbon footprint through home energy upgrades are invited to attend Sustainable Marblehead's Green Homes Tour on May 4.
The tour will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and provide those attending with the chance to speak with fellow residents about improved insulation, heat pumps, induction stoves, electric hot water heaters and rooftop solar.
Several homes are net zero, which means that they produce more energy than they consume.
