Marblehead Hit With Rash Of Car Break-Ins Overnight

Marblehead police said Friday morning that there were at least six break-ins in the area of Elm Street, Bradford Court and Roosevelt Avenue.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead police are asking residents to check their cars for signs of invasion after a rash of break-ins were reported overnight Friday morning in the area of Elm Street, Bradford Court and Roosevelt Avenue.

Police said as of late Friday morning they had already received six reports of vehicle break-ins.

"In some instances, items have been taken while others appear to have simply been rummaged," police said. "If you discover your vehicle has been entered — regardless of whether damage was done or items were taken — please contact us."
