Marblehead To Host First Evening Citizens Police Academy
The Citizens Academy runs Tuesday nights from Sept. 10 through Oct. 29.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents looking to learn about many aspects of how police officers do their jobs each day are encouraged to apply for one of the open spots in the Citizens Police Academy beginning on Sept. 10.
The Citizens Police Academy will run during evenings for the first time with sessions held each Tuesday at the Marblehead Council on Aging with trips to the police station and Michael Ruane Judicial Center in Salem.
The course is free and open to residents 18 years old or older.

Classes run from 6 to 9 p.m. through Oct. 29.
