Marblehead Man Indicted in Lynn Crash
Christopher Maxson could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
Marblehead resident Christopher Maxson has been indicted by a grand jury in the fatal drunk driving accident that killed a Salem girl in March.
Maxson, 20, is charged with vehicular homicide while driving drunk and driving recklessly.
In March, Maxson was driving the sport utility vehicle 19 year-old Julia Gauthier of Salem was riding in before Maxon crashed in Lynn. Gauthier was ejected from the vehicle and died shortly after.

If convicted, Maxson faces a minimum mandatory year in jail and up to 15 years in state prison. He remains confined to his home and monitored by an electronic ankle bracelet as a condition of his $12,500 bail. He will also undergo random drug and alcohol screens.
Maxson is expected to be arraigned in Salem Superior Court sometime this month.
