Marblehead Police To Host Next Citizens Academy

Residents 18 years old and older have the opportunity to learn about all facets of policework during the weekly course with officers.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents looking to learn more about all functions of policework in town are invited to apply for the department's next Citizens Academy beginning in February.

The course will run on Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon beginning on Feb. 23 and running through April 12.

The course will be held at the Marblehead Council on Aging with trips to the Marblehead Police Station and the Michael Ruane Judicial Center in Salem.

The course is open to residents 18 years old or older.
