Marblehead Prepares To Reopen Municipal Buildings

For the first time since March, Marblehead residents can conduct business at Abbot Hall and the Mary Alley Municipal Building.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead reopened Abbot Hall and the Mary Alley Municipal Building Monday after a three-month closure to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The buildings reopened with a reduced schedule, new policies and Plexiglas shields at all public counters. Those counters will also have supplies of hand sanitizer. Residents are asked to bring their own pens when visiting the buildings.

Adjusted hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Wednesday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm and Friday 8:30 - Noon.
