After defeating East Bridgewater last weekend, the 12-year-old softball all-stars head to East Regional playoffs in Bristol, Connecticut.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The 12-year-old Marblehead softball all-stars are on the road to Connecticut this weekend for East Regional playoffs after an unbelievable comeback season.

The girls lost their first game to Peabody in the District 16 playoffs and set a goal to just win the next game.

The wins never stopped coming and the team became the first Majors team from Marblehead's Softball Little League to ever win a state championship.

With a season full of rain delays, night games, and chaos of storms, the girls held it together, coming back with an impressive 8-1 season overall.

Marblehead's first game will be on Sunday against either New York or Vermont and the games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
