The first Community Wellness Day celebrates the Counseling Center's 55 years of offering mental health and social services in the town. Efforts are being made to reach more children and young adults with cases of mental, social and emotional health struggles increasing in the wake of the COVID-19 health crisis.

"As we celebrate May as Mental Health Awareness Month and gear up for our first Community Wellness Day in June, we thought a contest for high school and middle school students would be a great way to include young people and share with them some of the offerings and services of the counseling center," Marblehead Board of Directors President Ruth Ferguson said.

The designs should be in a single color and accompanied by a short description explaining their work. Proceeds from T-shirt sales will go directly to support the Counseling Center's work, including making mental health treatment and social services available and affordable to those who need it.

Information on how to submit a design entry can be found here.
