Marblehead Urgent Wasp, Yellow Jacket Warning Issued: Police
Police were advising residents to stay away from the area of Roundhouse Road near School Street on Tuesday because of a spotted swarm.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents were asked to stay away from the area of Roundhouse Road near School Street on Tuesday because of what police were calling "a bee/wasp situation."
"These are not honey bees," police clarified. "But a combination of yellow jackets and wasps."
Police did not share whether anyone had been stung by the swarm as of early Tuesday afternoon or a timetable for removing the aggressive insects.
