Marblehead's 'Charming Market' Named One of Boston's Best
A Marblehead market has been named best gourmet market in the latest round of "Best of Boston" awards.
A Marblehead market in Village Plaza has been named one of the “Best of Boston” for 2014 by Boston magazine.
Becky’s Gourmet sells fresh produce, baked goods, flowers and cheeses and also offers sandwiches and prepared dishes.
The magazine named it the best gourmet market in the suburbs north of Boston, calling it a “charming market” with “a veritable cornucopia of gloriously fresh produce, organic specialty items and mouthwatering prepared foods.”

The awards are in the magazine’s August “Best of Boston” issue. It was the only Marblehead business that was named as part of the 41st annual list and one of only a handful of winners on the North Shore.
