Minions Coming to Seaside Park on Thursday Night

Minions will descend on Seaside Park on Thursday night as the Summer Movie @ Seaside Park resumes.

“Despicable Me 2” will be shown on the big screen starting at 8 p.m.

Before the movie, there will be some “really fun treats for the kids” including carnival-type games and prizes starting at 6:30 p.m., according to the Marblehead Recreation and Parks Department. “Despicable Me 2” runs 1:38.

Thursday night’s movie comes after a showing of the animated hit “Frozen” last month.

Seaside Park is on Atlantic Avenue across from the Marblehead Police Department.

“Bring the entire family and enjoy a night under the stars while watching your favorite movie stars on the big screen,” said the announcement from the Recreation Department.
