Money Stolen From The Village School

Police are investigating an overnight break- in at the Village School.

Though few details are being made public, Chief Robert Picariello confirmed the school was broken into but was not trashed nor vandalized.

"Money was stolen," Picariello said. He would not say how much or from where the money was taken. "This is still under investigation and there is not much we can say."

Parents dropping their children off at school this morning were kept away from the building and no one was allowed to enter immediately while police investigated the crime scene, discovered early this morning.
