Motorist Parks Car in Market Square

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log:
Wednesday, Dec. 21
- At 8:27 a.m. a resident of Countryside Lane called police to alert them the family's carbon monoxide alarm went off Tuesday night and that her son was sick. The highest reading in the home was a three. The house was ventilated.
- Police and fire responded to a car accident at Smith and Pleasant streets at 11:30 a.m. One car was towed from the scene.
- At 2 p.m. police made several motor vehicle stops for failure to stop on Pleasant Street.
- At 3:49 p.m. a resident reported his Huffy 10 speed bike was stolen.
- A group of carolers going door to door at 4:16 p.m. on Carol Road was concerned when someone did not come to the door. Police said they had the wrong address for the person.
- Police and fire responded to a motor vehicle crash at Rockaway and Atlantic avenues at 5:46 p.m.
- At 5:49 p.m. a resident told police there was a car parked in the middle of Market Square "like it's a parking lot." Police spoke with the car's owner who did indeed, believe it was a parking lot.
- At 10:47 p.m. a resident of Clifton Heights Way complained about receiving calls from Jamaica.
- At 10:55 p.m. a Green Street Ct. resident reported no heat was coming into the home after work was done on a pipe earlier that day.
