NE Anti-Defamation League Honors Marblehead, Swampscott Police Chiefs
Chiefs Dennis King, Ruben Quesada, and Swampscott Superintendent Pamela Angelakis were presented with Community Service Leadership Awards.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Anti-Defamation League of New England recently honored Marblehead Police Chief Dennis King with a Community Service Leadership Award for his efforts to "spread the message that hate is not welcome in the Marblehead community."
King was honored at the ADL of New England's Essex County Law and Education Day at Kernwood Country Club in Salem.
Also honored at the event were Swampscott Police Chief Ruben Quesada, Swampscott Superintendent Pamela Angelakis and Pentucket Regional School District Assistant Superintendent Brent Conway.

State Rep. Simon Cataldo and state Sen. John Velis, co-chairs of the Special Commission on Combatting Antisemitism, were keynote speakers.
"I am proud to be recognized by the ADL of New England, but I share all the credit for this honor with the entire Marblehead Police Department," King said. "We serve our community each day guided by our core values of respect, dignity, and fairness, and above all that hatred should never be tolerated.
