UPDATED: Nolan Raimo Places 4th In State
Raimo ran in the All-State High School Pentathlon Monday and came in fourth in the state.
Last week, we named  Nolan spent Monday Running for a Cure for the second  year.Â
Nolan competed in the All-State High School Pentathlon Monday and came in fourth in the state. Raimo also tied a 33-year-old hurdling record previous set in 1978 by Peter Cuffe.
Naimo's late father Charlie had the 50 yard hurdling record before Cuffe broke it in 1978.Â

The pentathlon was comprised of five events: The 55 meter hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put, and 1000 meter run.Â
Raimo scored 3172 points which placed him 4th in the state out of 82 athletes, and barely missed third place by 1 point.

Raimo had personal records in the 55 meter hurdles (7.99 seconds), Long jump (20 feet 11 inches), and shot put (30 feet 10 inches). Raimo was hoping for 5 feet 10 inches in the high jump, however he jumped 5 feet 8 inches, and in the 1000 meter race he ran a 3:02 which is the same time I ran in the 2010 Pentathlon.
Supporters were asked to pledge a penny per point or a a penny per 2 points.
