Pig's Head Placed On Telephone Pole

This is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log from Sunday through Monday morning.

  • At 2:11 p.m. Sunday, a Darling Street woman told police someone had taken her rear-view mirror off her car.
  • At 2:36 p.m. Sunday, a person called police from Washington Street and reported a pig's head on one of the pegs on the telephone pole. Fire was called upon to help because the head was so high up the pole. The pig's head was removed by fire.
  • At 3:20 p.m. Sunday, a caller complained about a person on a bike riding on the wrong side of the street, without hands and texting along West Shore Drive.
  • At 4:15 p.m. Sunday, a man was laying on the sidewalk. Police spoke to him and he said he was waiting for the bus on Elm Street.
