According to the police report, when officers arrived on Saturday, Robert Scribbner, the head custodian, told police Friday night there was a senior banquet, which was held in the cafeteria and chaperones had been hired by the school.
It was after the banquet when Scribbner found the interior damage. After locking up for the night, Scribbner came back around 7 a.m. Saturday to find more damage to the outside of the building.

As police went through the school, they found broken tiles and lockers, broken coffee mugs, salad dressing and milk thrown against walls and windows.
Outside of the school, a light pole had been snapped off at the base of the fixture and lay in the roadway, according to the police report. Five double-pane windows were smashed by rocks and debris and ceiling tiles lay smashed and wet by the outside doorway.
"The damage was inside and outside," Picariello said. "At this point, we have no information to report. We are investigating."
