This is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log from Saturday, July 10, through Sunday, July 11, at 7 a.m.

  • At 9:30 a.m. Saturday, a person walked in the station to report two suspicious people.  According to the witness, a male and  female were walking down the hill from Abbot Hall toward 5 Corners, and the woman was asking people if they have a wife. Police located the couple and called emergency services when they found the woman had heat stroke. The male, William P. Bouzianis, 49, of 143 Primrose St., Haverhill, was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order. Bouzianis was held without bail and transported to Middleton Jail.
  • At 1:39 p.m. Saturday, police arrested Mark E. Dolan, 40, 134 Washington St., Marblehead, on a warrant (non-Marblehead related).
  • A 16-year-old was struck by a car in the area of 274 West Shore Drive shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday. The victim's mother called police after the girl's friend ran to her home and told the woman that her daughter had been struck. The father of the 16-year-old ran into the roadway and picked up his daughter and brought her home. The mother initially said the parties associated with the  motor vehicle were walking away from area. Then, she said parties were under the porch and having a verbal dispute with the child's father. The child was transported to North Shore Children's Hospital where she was not listed as a patient on Sunday morning. West Shore Drive was closed while police cleared the scene. No further information was immediately available.
  •  During Saturday afternoon's downpours, the following locations were flooded: 91 Pleasant St., 118 Washington St., 2 Haley Road, 22 Countryside Lane and 15 Sewall St. A tree also came down on Morgan Lane.
