The following items were recorded in the log of the Marblehead Police over the past week
May 21, 8:15 a.m., A Stonybrook Road resident called police to tell them the area of Peach Highlands was blocked due to a tree company doing work. One of the lanes of the blind hill was blocked and could be dangerous. Police responded to the scene and did find the road was a hazard. The tree company said they would be gone within an hour.
May 21, 9 a.m., A Franklin Street resident alerted police Friday that his sports utility vehicle was scraped sometime over night. Wine bottles were also found scattered about the yard according to police.
May 21, 3:17 p.m., Police responded to the tennis courts at 217 Pleasant St. for a report of a person on a motorcycle around and inside the court. An officer spoke to the party and the person left the scene.

May 21, 3:22 p.m., Police responded to Lindsey and Hawkes Streets for a report of kids in the street. The Lindsey Street resident told police kids have set up a skate park in the middle of the intersection daily starting at 2 p.m. According to the calling party, the kids are causing traffic problems and are a nuisance. A police officer responded to the scene and told the kids to stay out of the street.
May 21, 7 p.m., Roosevelt Avenue parents reported to police the day before, their sons (eight boys) were playing baseball at Hobbs Park when a man was seen taking photographs of them. The man was described as being white and sitting in a black sports utility vehicle. According to the parent, he was taking photos of the boys for up to 20 minutes and talking on his cell phone. The boys reported the incident to their parents who then felt they should tell police. Police are investigating.

May 22, 9 a.m., An MBTA bus was stuck on Washington Street due to an illegally parked car. Police responded and towed the vehicle from the scene. Police left a message for the vehicle's owner on a home answering machine. The vehicle's owner later called police to alert them she had been in a meditation workshop and would get in touch with the tow company.
May 24, 4:51 p.m., A Pequot Road woman called police to report a light blue sports utility vehicle driven by a heavy set man with long hair and about 30 years old was talking to a seven-year-old boy. According to the caller, the driver had slowed down and the seven year old was on a bicycle. The reporting party was unsure if the child was being harassed. When the reporting party turned her car around to go back, both parties were gone.
May 26, 7:56 p.m., A Prospect Street resident came into Police Headquarters to report someone had sabotaged her cable system. The reporting party told police it always happens during important events like American Idol.
May 26, 10:51 p.m., A Pitman Road home was egged by a group of youths. The group fled but one child was caught. The child denied egging the house.
May 27, 10:23 a.m., A call came in from Smith and Pleasant Streets alerting police a gray, Ford Ecoline van was swerving and "all over the road." The woman who called police was afraid the man may be intoxicated. The vehicle was coming inbound from Lafayette onto Pleasant Street. As the vehicle approached Smith Street, a pack of cigarettes was tossed from the window. Police stopped the vehicle and the driver told police he was just trying to light a cigarette. Police said he was oriented to time and place and had no scent of alcohol on him.
May, 27, 10:51 a.m., Kenneth Plante, 59, 17 Muriel Road, Chelmsford, was arrested and charged with driving after license suspension (subsequent offense) and driving with a suspended registration. While police performed an inventory of the vehicle. Officer Lori Knowles cut herself on a rusty saw. She received a tetanus shot. Officer Andrew Clark made the arrest.
