This is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log from Friday, July 9, through Saturday, July 10 at 7 a.m.

  • At 8:51 a.m. Friday, a person called and complained to police her neighbor butchered a tree she had raised from a sapling.
  • At 9:05 a.m. Friday,  a resident of Mechanic Street told police her downstairs neighbor has been served notice and is escalating the situation by sitting outside and cleaning knives, swords and an axe. She told police that she "is a little bit unnerved by this."
  • At 3:23 p.m. Friday, a caller reported an incident in which a blue Camry was involved with a mini van. The Camry was driven by a short, young male and he had a bat. The Camry was last seen going toward the Neck.
  • At 7:45 p.m. Friday, a woman called and said someone asked her to call and say there were kids skateboarding on the tennis courts at Seaside Park. When the dispatcher asked the woman her name, she said she wasn't there and was calling for someone. When dispatch asked again, she said "nope." The skateboarders were gone when police arrived.
  • At 12:09 a.m. Saturday, a person, who would only say he lived near Tucker's Wharf, complained about people screaming out on the harbor in a boat.
