Police Log: Screaming Match Over Cement
This is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log from Tuesday, July 27 to Wednesday at 6 a.m.

- Tuesday morning two residents of Rose Avenue reported their cars where broken into overnight and two GPS were stolen. Police are reminding residents to lock their doors at night.
- At 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, a Fort Beach Way resident called police to tell them he was hearing a "screaming match." The resident believed the screaming match was between some kind of town inspector and another person. When police arrived they learned a resident was upset over cement left over from a masonry job.
- At 8:38 p.m. Tuesday, someone driving by an incident on Front Street, reported to police she just witnessed a woman exit a car, grab a child from the backseat and began shaking the child and yelling and screaming. A male adult, also in the car, then punched the child with a closed fist.
- At 9:17 p.m. a Barnard Hawkes Circle resident called to say they were being harassed over the phone about newspaper theft.
- At 12:38 a.m. Wednesday, a Creesy Street resident said two men were standing in front of the building and were suspicious. Police found the two men live there and were having a smoke.
