This is an except from the Marblehead Police log from Tuesday, August 10 through Wednesday, August 11, at 1 a.m.

- At 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, a Salem resident went into the Marblehead Police station to report she came across a posting on Craigslist of a bicycle. Her friend had a bike stolen last year and the online post matches the description. The bike brand is a Rambouillet and they are handmade, according to the resident. The woman called the number of a man named Ed who is listed online and asked about it. She asked if she could see the bike and he replied that it is in Boston at a friend's house. He said that the bike may be stolen and it was found last year in Salem. The posting has been removed and flagged on Craigslist. Marblehead detectives will follow up.
- At 1:32 p.m. Tuesday, a driver on Leggs Hill Road called police after the car in front of the driver hit the curb three times before coming to rest in a driveway. Police checked with the driver who hit the curb and they said they were all set.
- At 5:16 p.m., Tuesday, police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. A white van side swiped three vehicles. The driver of the van, according to witnesses, got out and looked at the damage then got back in the van and drove off. Police found the driver and brought him back to Washington Street to exchange information.
- At 6 p.m. Tuesday, an Endicott Avenue resident reported his television and stereo had been stolen.
- At 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, a Hines Court resident called police saying her neighbors were being loud and a car parked in their driveway had their radio blasting. Police told the people to go in for the night.
