Police Log: Suspicious SUV and a Loud TV

This is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Log from Friday, July 23 to Saturday, July 24.

  • At 8:37 a.m. Friday, a Brookhouse Road woman called police to tell them she was concerned about a man going through trash cans looking for returnable bottles and cans.
  • A juvenile was arrested Friday at 12:38 p.m. on a warrant on Central Street.
  • At 11:04 p.m. Friday, a Longview Drive West resident called police after noticing a dark sports utility vehicle made three loops around the neighborhood in a half hour. When the resident went outside to get a better look, the SUV took off "like a jack rabbit," the resident said.
  • At 11:06 p.m. Friday, an Elm Street resident called police to report ongoing problems with a neighbor. Last week, police went over to restore peace and since then, she keeps doing things to annoy the resident, according to the reporting party.  At 11:06 p.m. Friday, the neighbor cranked up her television. When police arrived, they could hear the TV from the street. They told her to turn it down or shut the windows.
