Remembrance Service to Honor Sept. 11 Attack Victims Thursday Morning
A remembrance service is planned for Thursday morning at Memorial Park.

Marblehead will remember the victims of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 during a remembrance service at Memorial Park on Thursday.
The brief remembrance service is planned for Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park at Essex and Pleasant streets, according to Marblehead Fire Department Capt. Michael Porter.
The service will remember the victim of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, Flight 93 in Shanksville, Penn. and at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. 13 years ago.

In Boston, Gov. Deval Patrick and other state officials will honors the victims of the attacks at a flag lowering ceremony and a reading of the names of Massachusetts victims on the steps of the State House at 8:30 a.m.
